Remember that when it comes to your children, honesty is always going to be the best policy. You want to be sure that you can be honest, and therefore you should model it with your children.

Your child knows when you tell him or her the truth and they trust you. When you take the time to look within your self and to be honest with your child, you will gain their trust and their respect.
