You want to be sure that you are spending time together that is really worth it. See if you can open up the lines of communication and have a discussion about something that it is important to everyone. See if there are other things that you can talk about together to make sure that you are able to do this. Remember that as you are working with your children, you are opening up the doors to give them chances to answer questions and to talk about things that they have always wanted to talk about. Fourth, you want to be sure that you are giving your children a chance to suggest what you should do together for your quality time. This is a great way to allow them to really have a say about what they want to do with you, and it is a great way to make your quality time count, because your children will be much more apt to be into it if they are able to have a say in what you do.
